The Lanessan vineyard in the Haut-Medoc appellation area has belonged to the Bouteiller family since the 18th century. 45 hectares of vines (110 acres) are situated between Cussac-Fort-Medoc and the famous Saint-Julien wine region. This elegant, rich wine is made from vines growing on a remarkable deep gravel soil. Blackberry, Liqourice aromas with smoky hints of cedar and a silky and long finish, define the elegant wine. Will age beautifully over 10-15 years.
